Sid:  My guest Steven Brooks, I’m speaking to him at his home in Moravian Falls, North Carolina a place, as a matter of fact Steven I’ve been to Moravian Falls, but the only time I have seen angels, no there were two times, but the only time that I’ve seen angels is I got into North Carolina I saw a couple on the road as I was driving.  And I saw it, the reason I knew that they were angels is I saw them and then I blinked my eyes and they weren’t there.  And I thought I must be imagining something.  And so then I drove down the road a little further and I saw that same angels and then they were gone again; so I think they were playing with me, I’m not sure.

Steven:  Right.

Sid:  You’ve had so many angelic encounters and the purpose of your book is not for people to have angelic encounters, but the angels are there working with them and we’ve never been taught on how to cooperate with the angles.  On yesterday’s broadcast you were talking about the purpose of angels, would you continue teaching on that?

Steven:  Well, Sid the angels will help us in the things that God has called us to do.  I’ll give you an example of my ministry I know that there are two angels, I have actually met them before and I’d like to tell you and share with the people how I met these two angels.  But they help me in a certain area of ministry that just really helps me to minister very effectively.  But let me tell you how these two angels were originally assigned to me. I was living in Long Beach, California, this was about six years ago, and I had gone out in the garage of my home to pray.  Sometimes I’ll pray in the house, but there as activity with the family going on in the house so I went out to the garage to pray because it would be quiet, but Sid even as I was in the garage I could still hear some background noise from the house.  I thought well, I’ll just sit in my wife’s car which was parked in the garage and then I’ll close the door and I won’t hear anything.  And at that time the car my wife was driving was a PT cruiser. It was purple like a deep really rich purple color and because we lived in Southern California it was popular to have a personal plate, even the license plate said, “Royal PT” because of the deep purple color.  Well, I was sitting in the car and I was just praying and spending time with the Lord and I just went over to that realm where I hit the glory realm and just seemed like the car just kind of filled up with the cloud and I just put my hands up and began to worship the Lord.  And as I did that Sid I heard a sound and it sounded like “swoosh,” and the back of the car it felt like the back of the car went down about two inches. Sid:  Well, were you afraid?

Steven:  No, there was absolutely no fear but there was an awe at the same time, there was a reverence.  In moments like that there is no flippancy, there is no silliness, it was like an awe.  And I because the car, I physically felt the car go down.  I said, “Lord,” and I had my eyes closed and I was in deep in prayer, I said, “Lord I said, two angels just came and sat down in the back seat of the car didn’t they?”  And I heard a voice Sid it seemed to me like it was right next to me a voice a man’s voice spoke and spoke, “Yes, they did.”  And so I’m probably like you Sid, I’m curious it something’s unraveling I want to find out more of what’s actually taking place.  And I said, “Lord, what is the purpose of these angels?  He said, “They are here to help you and assist you in your times of prayer and fasting.”  And then I got a little more bold, I said, “What are their names?”  He said, “Joash and Josiah.”   Now Sid when I heard that voice speak to me and tell me those two names, Joash and Josiah very slowly I was sitting in the front seat.  Very slowly I turned around, I turned my head around and I looked in the back seat of the car and there sitting there were two male angels, they looked to be about thirty years of age, they had hair that was just as black as a raven that came down and rested on their shoulders.  Their eyes were so beautiful, their eyes looked like dark Tahiti pearls, and their robes were like red, thick velvet and they were so red they looked like a deep stained crimson color. Sid when I saw them I just said, “Lord, thank you, I receive their ministry.”  And I begin to turn back towards the front and when I turned towards the front all of the hair on the back of my neck stood completely up, and there sitting in the front passenger seat was the Lord Jesus Himself. Sid:  My goodness, that’s an experience to last a life time!

Steven:  I could hardly function for two weeks for almost two weeks after this experience happened.  After when I turned and saw the Lord sitting in the front passenger seat I pushed myself over to the left side of the car and looked at Him I was shocked, I was totally stunned. That was the first time ever saw the Lord in person like that.  And to top it off he was wearing a purple robe, a deep beautiful purple robe, He had a gold belt, it was like a sash around His waist.  I could look down in the floor board, I could see His feet and I could see that He was wearing gold sandals and He had a gold miter a crown on His head.  And Sid He looked at me and He smiled; I was able to see Him clearly, He was only two feet away from me.  And He smiled at me.  I knew He took pleasure in knowing that He had caught me off guard.  Ha because I was so stunned that I knew that it had tickled Him some.  But He put His hands, He crossed His hands together and put His hands in His lap and leaned forward and began to pray and intercede for my ministry.  And I just put my hands up and began to worship the Lord and worship God and after just a few more minutes that vision lifted.  I came out of the car and the first thing I did was laying on the desk there in the garage I had my Credence Concordance which in the back of it has every Greek and Hebrew name listed with their meanings. I looked up the name Joash and it means the fire of the Lord.  I looked up the name Josiah, it means the burning of the Lord.  So Sid when there’s those times of prayer and fasting as the Spirit leads those two angels come and they help me and literally I just lose any appetite for food, it just goes away and I can just focus on praying.

Sid:  How many angels are assigned to you?

Steven:  I am not exactly sure because I’ll give you an example, there’s angels that are assigned to my book department; there are angels that actually help lead people to my books that are available in book stores.  It’s like with your ministry there are multitudes of angels that go out and actually influence people to turn on the TV and watch your program because the Lord knows people need to be feed spiritual food.

Sid:  We get email from people that say, “I’ve never heard of you or your program, but I just felt like turning it on one day and there you were and I got healed or you met this need.   So you’re saying that you believe that their angel really directed them.

Steven:  Yes, that’s one thing the church is also backed off some that we believe the devil is able to influence people with bad thoughts. We of course we understand that God influence us.  The Holy Spirit will influence us with good thoughts but the angels also influence our thoughts; they help us to think those God ideas, or those bright ideas.  Those are the angels dropping that revelation upon our hearts.

Sid:  Would it be appropriate for you to release the angels with your spoken word, as you taught spoken words are important, to get this book in the hands of everyone that is listening right now?

Steven:  I would love to do that, and I would just speak that right now, “Father we thank you for the angels that are available and listening right now; Father there are multitudes of people that are listening to this program that need this book Father and want and desire a closer walk with you and how to work with their angels. ‘So Father we just send forth those angels; ministering spirits go forth and make a way if there are those that do not have the finances make a way for that extra money to come for them to acquire and purchase this book.”

Sid:  Steven tell me about the dream you had about the great shift that’s coming in ministry.

Steven:  Sure, and right now I feel an anointing that there is and I want to touch on that subject; but there is somebody out there that desperately needs a miracle; somebody is struggling financially.  There are people that are listening today that have great financial burdens and unless the Lord does a miracle they’re facing great difficulty.  And right now ministering spirits go forth those individuals that need a financial miracle; that need a breakthrough in their finances and cause the money to come, cause the breakthroughs to come, go in the name of Jesus.  Ooooh, Hallelujah, thank you Lord.

Sid:  Oh I’m so glad you were obedient because we’re going to get letters from that.  Now tell me about the dream you had of the great shift that’s coming in ministry.

Steven:  There is a shift that’s coming because what the Lord wants to do, and I’ll give you an example; back in the 1950’s healing revival that was a powerful move of God’s Spirit.  We’re going to see another move like that come, but it’s going to be different.  There’s going to be some, the Lord has put some safety checks into this next coming move of God’s Spirit and one of the things that’s going to happen Sid is that instead of like back in the 1950’s healing revival there were only 120 people that were really mentioned as far as being ones that were heavily anointed; that’s going to be very different in this next coming move of God.  It’s going to be all hands on deck, it’s not going to be just a few ministers moving in the anointing, yes there will always be a place for the five fold ministry, and yes the fivefold minister even such as myself is assigned with a special anointing, but the Bible says these signs shall follow them that believe.  And there are many believers that are out there today that have you know they say “These signs shall follow them that believe that they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.”  Well, most believers don’t move in that, they think that’s just for the fivefold ministry, but we’re going to see a great awakening of the church and it will be all hands on deck and really when it comes time for this great end-time harvest to pull the nets in and bringing in the multitudes it’s going to require everybody doing their part.

Sid:  And will the church look like it looks today so neat; you almost know before you go into the service how many songs they’re going to be; which will be fast, which will be they’ll be fast then they’re going to be slow.  Then there’s going to be announcements then there’s going to be the offering and then there’s going to be the five point or the three point message.  Will that change?

Steven:  Sid it is going to change, things are going to change because the glory changes things, if I could say it this way, it levels the playing field.  When the glory comes nothing can compete with God’s power it’s just, it doesn’t matter how good a marketing ability might be, or how comfortable the chairs are, or this and that.  When the glory comes, people want to be in on the glory, well at least most people do, there will still be some that are…

Sid:  Oh let that glory come.
